Carry on Kicking are preparing for a special moment this Saturday as we take part in our first ever 11-a-side friendly. We’re used to our relaxed Thursday social sessions, so stepping onto a full-sized pitch together is a new and exciting experience for the group.

Our visitors, Cove Seniors, are no strangers to the 11-a-side game and will bring far more experience than us on the day. Their squad is made up of a great group of men, most of whom are over 35 and still love getting out on the pitch for a game. They play with a positive attitude, enjoy the sport for what it is, and always create a supportive and friendly atmosphere.

Saturday is all about having fun, encouraging each other, and taking another positive step as a group. We’re looking forward to seeing the boys enjoy the occasion, play with smiles on their faces, and soak in the experience. And once the final whistle goes, we look forward to sitting down together for some food and a few beers to round off a great afternoon.
