Halloween Fundraiser for Papyrus UK

On Thursday 30th November we dressed up during our usual Thursday sessions to raise money for Papyrus UK. The enthusiasm from everyone who took part made the evening memorable and helped support an organisation dedicated to preventing young suicide.

Papyrus UK is a national charity focused on the prevention of suicide among young people. Their work includes providing confidential support and advice through their HOPELINE247 service, offering training to communities and professionals, raising awareness about mental health, and working to reduce the stigma that often prevents young people from seeking help. Their mission is simple but vital: to create a society where no young person feels so overwhelmed or hopeless that suicide becomes an option.

Fundraising Progress

We originally aimed to raise £100. Thanks to the generosity of our players, families and supporters, we reached 220% of that goal with a final total of £220.

Thank you to everyone who contributed and took part. Your support helps strengthen our community on and off the pitch, and it directly contributes to the life-saving work Papyrus does every day.
